Eat Right...Feel Right

I had been to see several doctors over the past five years because I was experiencing a long list of symptoms that were becoming harder and harder to live with. They did all kinds of tests with no diagnosis. I was told it was anxiety. I felt like I was 83 years old not 53. I needed to find someone who would take me seriously and help me.

I began seeing Judith Gisser and am thrilled to report that with the dietary changes, supplements and healthy living tips, I no longer suffer from constipation, fatigue, muscle pain, joint pain, dizziness, inability to tolerate exercise, severe hot flashes and head fog.

I now eat to feel well and know that my good health. to a large extent, depends on the choices I make. I am exercising again, keeping more aware of proper breathing, drinking lots of water and reading food content labels with much better understanding.
Oh and the three bite rule... I love the three bite rule!

My wife and I hired Judith to get our diets on track to gain better health and energy and maybe lose a little extra weight. After only our first two meetings, she was able to identify our nutritional deficiencies and provide an easy to follow meal and supplement plan customized specifically for us. It was so straight forward and easy to follow. Plus, we could eat as much as we wanted.

With just two additional short "check up" meetings, we were able to stick to the plan and gain more energy than we had felt in years. We did not need as much sleep, would jump out of bed raring to go and those occasional "moody days" completely disappeared. Neither of us was really overweight, but we both came down to our ideal weights in only 3 months. The pounds just melted away. I went from 210 to 180 and my wife from 165 to 150 in just three months.

This was the most effective "diet" we had ever tried. After just two weeks the cravings for junk food completely stopped. After the second month we had gained back the strength and stamina of our teenage years. It was definitely a pretty amazing experience for both of us. With Judith's guidance, my relationship with food has completely changed. I am now empowered. I know what it can do for me and have a much better idea of how to make it work for me instead of looking at how it works against me.

I have a much better understanding of what works well for my body and can make choices accordingly. After several workshops with Judith, I have so many useful tools at my disposal for stress reduction. I now take time for myself to breathe and refocus each day, using a number of different techniques she teaches. I am also much more conscious of how the food I eat affects me. Thanks to her, I have cut out things that do not work for me. What sticks with me is the idea that I am in control and that the food is something that fuels me, not something that rules me. I achieved my weight loss goal, losing the last stubborn 6 lbs, but more importantly learned how stress is related to my weight. My meals and supplements are optimal. While I don't always remember, I try to take more of a break from work to eat. My stress is lower, and sleep is a higher priority. Judith taught me how I need to "appreciate green" every day. Judith was my first introduction to improving my health through nutrition.  In working with her, it opened up a whole new awareness and a focused start towards holistic wellness. After an individual consultation with Judith, I attended a workshop series and also learned "Heart Math" with biofeedback and E.F.T. I found all of these interventions to be very helpful. My diet has changed to incorporate more whole foods and less junk. I have learned to deal with my emotions through biofeedback and E.F.T. and have let go of some past demons that were bogging me down and consuming me. As a result, I am more relaxed, have more energy, have lost weight and overall am at peace. MEM

I worked with Judith as my Wellness Coach for over a year. It has been a tumultuous journey for me (multiple job changes, husband was laid-off, oldest daughter heading off to college...) and having Judith as my coach during these times has been a true Blessing.

Working with a coach was a new and wonderful experience. Judith addressed not only the physiological issues surrounding my painful kidney stones, but also worked with me on the psychological and emotional issues that were exacerbating my condition. With Judith's help, I was able to address my infertility issues and
get my reproductive health stabilized. As a direct result of
counseling, prescribed herbs and lifestyle changes, I became
pregnant twice and now have 2 beautiful daughters.

This past year, I began to experience some pre-menopausal symptoms. She helped with those too. 

 I am much more aware of what I eat now, from a health
perspective. I know what my trigger foods are, and how much
better I feel when I avoid those foods.

As for managing stress, with 2 pre-schoolers, my life is non-
stop and hectic, 24/7. Using some of the relaxation
techniques that Judith recommended, has helped
tremendously.

While I am still somewhat inconsistent with my exercise, I am
VERY clear about how much better I feel when I do work out.
Her suggestions about how to get back on track by making
small changes makes becoming and staying healthy easy, not overwhelming. Small changes add up to a big difference
